Q: CAN I PURCHASE A TICKET AT THE EVENT?
A: No - tickets are only available online before the event. No tickets will not be sold in-person on site.
Q: DOES MY TICKET PURCHASE WORK FOR ALL EVENT DAYS?
A: No. Each show date and time requires a ticket specific to that event.
Q: ONCE I BUY MY TICKET, HOW IS IT RECEIVED?
A: The ticket will be included in the confirmation. You may print out the ticket or just open the PDF included with the confirmation on your phone. Tickets may also be accessed on your mobile device using the Eventbrite APP.
Q: IF I DON’T HAVE A TICKET CAN I LISTEN TO THE SHOW FROM THE SIDEWALK OR OTHER NEARBY AREA?
A: No. All surrounding areas, including parking lots and beach, will be inaccessible for watching or listening to the show.
Q: ARE PARKING SPACES ASSIGNED?
A: No - All tickets are General Admission based on color section and row number and will NOT be assigned prior to arrival. Vehicles will be placed on a first come first served basis to a parking space in their designated color section and row number upon arrival. To ensure you don’t miss a thing, we added large video screens on each side of the stage. For those fans looking for the most intimate experience, a limited number of GREEN, BLUE, and PINK tickets are available in the first three rows.
Q: WE HAVE A LARGE GROUP COMING. CAN WE RESERVE SPACES IN ADVANCE?
A: Sorry, we cannot reserve parking. Please contact us for corporate or group parties.
Q: RULES FOR PARKING
A: Please follow the direction of parking attendants and venue staff. For everyone’s safety, it is important that you stay in the space you are assigned throughout the event. Parking spaces between vehicles must remain clear.
Q: WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
A: Del Mar Fairgrounds will open at 90 minutes prior to show time. We suggest planning your arrival around 45-60 minutes prior to show time. *For Movies In Your Car ONLY gates will open at 60 minutes before show time.
Q: WHERE SHOULD WE ENTER?
A: Entrance to Del Mar Fairgrounds is at the main entrance located at: 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, CA 92014. Follow signs for front gate.
Q: HOW DO I SCAN MY TICKET?
A: Social distance scanning will be by holding the ticket against your rolled up window. Our team will scan your ticket through the glass. If this is not possible and your window needs to be rolled down, you must wear a mask. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Q: WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE?
A: Gates close 15 minutes past show time. NO one will be allowed in after that. No refunds will be granted.
Q: WHAT IF I DON'T USE MY TICKET?
A: All sales are final and there will be no refunds.
Q: DOES EVERYONE IN MY CAR NEED A TICKET?
A: No, you will only need one ticket per car. The number of passengers in your vehicle must not exceed the number of safety belts/seats. It is recommended that you only share a vehicle with household members with whom you have been sheltering in place.
Q: CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
A: In and out privileges are not permitted.
Q: IF I NEED TO LEAVE BEFORE THE SHOW IS OVER, WILL I BE ABLE TO EXIT THE PARKING LOT?
A: We ask that everyone stay in their parking space until the end of the show. In case of an emergency you may exit.
Q: HOW LONG WILL THE SHOW LAST?
A: Sets will last approximately 75 minutes.
A state-of-the-art sound system is available and will transmit the performance to each car’s FM radio, so you can control your audio if desired. Elaborate lighting and four massive LED video screens will provide 360 degrees of visual entertainment for your best experience.
Q: WILL RESTROOMS BE AVAILABLE?
A: Yes. But the following guidelines must be observed:
All guests exiting their vehicle MUST wear a Mask or face covering.
No more than two guests per vehicle can leave to use the restroom at the same time.
Once out of the vehicle guests must maintain 6 ft. social distancing with guided walk line to the restroom.
Plenty of porta potties, and hand washing and sanitizer stations will be located throughout the venue to prevent gatherings or clusters.
All restrooms will be monitored by a housekeeping attendant to ensure surfaces are cleaned after each use.
Security will be present at all restroom areas to maintain order and social distancing rules.
Anybody who does not follow the rules will be asked to leave.
Q: WILL CONCESSIONS BE AVAILABLE?
A: Yes. Concessions will be available.
Q: CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS?
A: Food and drinks will be available to purchase on site. No outside food or liquor allowed.
Q: WILL CARS BE SEARCHED?
A: All cars are subject to search.
Q: WILL SOMEONE BE PICKING UP TRASH?
A: We ask that you please take your trash with you and dispose of it at home.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
A: This is a rain or shine event.
Q: WHAT KINDS OF VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED?
A: Vehicles and trucks must fit in a single, standard parking space. Oversize vehicles such as RVs and trailers are not permitted. All lifted trucks and high profile vehicles (anything over 6.5 ft tall) MUST park in the ORANGE ,RED, GREY, TEAL SECTIONS or ROW 9. Standard stock vehicles are permitted to park anywhere in the venue.

Q: WHAT IF MY CAR BATTERY DIES DURING THE CONCERT?
A: Our staff can assist you to jump start your car.
Q: DO MY HEADLIGHTS NEED TO BE OFF?
Q: DO I NEED TO STAY INSIDE MY VEHICLE?
Yes. We ask that all attendees stay inside/by their vehicle. Hatches may be open but must not exceed roof height. If the hatch is spring loaded please tie it down so it doesn't obstruct the view of others. Guests are also allowed to sit in truck beds. Guests must continue to abide by social distance guidelines and masks are required if you are outside of your vehicle. Please use common courtesy so everyone can enjoy the show.
*If a medical condition exists that prevents a guest from wearing a face-covering, then they must remain inside their vehicle at ALL times. No exceptions
Q: CAN WE SIT IN A TRUCK BED?
A: Yes. All attendees must wear face masks/coverings.
Q: IS SMOKING ALLOWED?
A: No. To be considerate of all attendees we do not allow smoking at this event. Thank you for your understanding.
CAN I BRING MY PET TO THE SHOW?
A: Only well behaved service dogs are allowed. You must pick-up after them and they must be on a leash.
Q: WHAT IF SOMEONE IN MY PARTY HAS TO COME LATE? CAN THEY WALK IN?
A: NO, all guests must arrive in a ticketed vehicle. No walk-ins
Q: WILL THERE BE AN ENCORE PERFORMANCE?
The following items and activities are prohibited at this event:
Advertising, selling or promoting any third party product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items)
Grills or fryers
Kerosene lamps or open flames of any kind
Tents, stand umbrellas and tarps
Use of drones
Wagons and strollers
Please note that failure to follow these guidelines may result in ejection from the event.

Q: WHAT IS CONCERTS IN YOUR CAR?
A: Concerts in Your Car is a concert series taking place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, featuring top tier artists. The event is designed to give music fans the live show experience, while still maintaining social distancing. Think DRIVE-IN meets LIVE ENTERTAINMENT.
Q: WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN?
A: All CDC and State of California guidelines will be followed, and we are working closely with CDC, State of California, and County of San Diego Health Department to ensure this event meets or exceeds all recommended standards. To ensure safety, we will leave enough distance between you and surrounding vehicles. We ask that all guests remain in/by their vehicles, practice social distancing, and wear masks whenever outside of their vehicle. In the event it is necessary for a guest to leave their vehicle, guests must use safe and social distancing practices, and wear a face covering. Security will strictly enforce guidelines. Failure to follow safe social distancing, or requests of security or staff members for guests to follow, will cause the guest to be subject to removal. Event staff will be wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) as required by CDC guidelines.
If a medical condition exists that prevents a guest from wearing a face-covering, then they must remain inside their vehicle at ALL times. No exceptions.
